1. Craft Artisans
As a small family business, we know that you love experiencing what you can’t find anywhere else! Besides our unique onyx filled caverns, we are offering a look into our past by featuring the early Alabama craft of blacksmithing. We will have daily craft artisan demonstrations to take you back to the tastes, sounds, and firey smells of one of Alabama’s historical crafts! Our artisans will share their craft while you enjoy seeing live demonstrations that will remind you of simpler times and give an appreciation for the skills and talents of those who lived and labored in our shared past.
2. Streetmosphere Show
We have daily park shows involving historically based characters! This show includes magic, juggling, comedy, history, and more.
3. Strolling Entertainment
After their show performance, our entertainers will create strolling shows for our guests by performing tricks and magic.
4. Character Quests
Our park’s unique atmosphere is built on its extraordinary history. We have incorporated the stories of this land into character quests for our guests during their visit to the park! Meet engaging quirky characters and unlock pieces of history as you enjoy our park and learn about the many brave men and women who have gone before and who can inspire us to build a better future for our children.
5. Simplified Ticketing
Because the team at Desoto Caverns has prioritized safety and creating a better experience for guests, we reviewed different park models for how to create a safe space for guests. We found for our specific park, the best way to keep track of capacity, limit points of contact while creating more experiences for guests was to implement a simple all-inclusive gate wristband. This new ticket would include the guided cavern tour, unlimited attractions, and our all-new craft artisan demonstrations, streetmosphere shows, strolling entertainment, character quests, and our Pathway of Legends.
